Faye likes to dump out all her hair band thingies so she can put them back in the little bag. She’s a funny one. :)

With such nice weather today, we took a trip out to the Audubon Zoo with Dawn and Henry. Faye had a blast seeing all of the animals she been reading abotu in her book and coloring at daycare. She really liked the elephants and *loved* seeing the giraffe’s up close at the feeding area. She even got to feed to one! Ok, well… when the Giraffe stuck his tongue out for the biscuit she climbed on to me for dear life (but giggling a fit still), so I gave him the biscuit. A fun outting for all.

Took a trip out to Taj Mahal for lunch today. Yummy as always. We offered Faye some rice and naan, but she didn’t want any. She just wanted her goldfish (even on her head).

Now we’re out having sushi for dinner at Sake Sushi & Hibachi, a new place for us.

After waiting for two hours, Donna and my mom finally saw Drew Brees’ float….. for 14 whole seconds!

In other news, yesterday she had pink eye, but this morning it is miraculously gone while a runny nose has taken its place. Thanks anyway for the call-in, Petra! We had fun skyping.

Faye was persistent on wanting to wear this dress to daycare yesterday, so she did.

I went to the sundry store in my office building to get a paper (for someone else), expecting them to be sold out. They were, but the owner said he’d sell me his own copy. Then six people walked in behind me for a paper. I said, “Too late, I got the last one.” Lucky me! I paid my 75 cents and ran. Since it’s not mine to keep, I took some pictures. And the owner assured everyone that more papers would be coming in this morning, so I don’t have to feel too guilty.
