Heading home.

Boarding comes and goes but no plane yet.
Continental says we’re only 4mins delayed though…..sure….

Just a tad early for our 3:15 flight. Heard someone say one flight from here to Houston was cancelled and the 1:15 is delayed (not even here yet). We’re hoping this trend doesn’t follow to our flight.

Our last dinner in Indy and it was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. Across the street was a fancy looking Panda Express. Also spotted another R2-D2 mailbox, on the corner of Pennsylvania and Virginia Sts.

Not many pics from the race today but it was awesome. We lucked out and had great weather too. It was in the low 90’s but we lota of clouds come overhead and had a nice breeze going almost all day.
Stands were packed compared to the practice and qualifying sessions, but we didn’t have any crazies nearby.
We sat in Stand J Sec 27 Row AA Seats 1 & 2. Had a clear view all the way down the front straight plus turns one through 6. Couldn’t have had a better spot.
And some bonus pics from last nights dinner at Steak N Shake. The Turtle (something) sippiable sundae shake is goooooooooood. :)

Our view for today’s qualifying session that was at 1pm ET. Right at the finish line at the pit lane exit line.
