The Audubon Zoo

After having lunch at La Madeleine with Petra, Jeff, Kai and Ms. Cathy we all went to the zoo for some fun in the sun (and to wear the kids out).

We spent some time playing in the waterfall rocks at Monkey Hill, then got some yummy ice cream from the Haagen-Dazs stand, and then ran around playing in a grass field. Faye and Kai were the cutest though. Faye kept wanting to hold Kai¹s hand and they would just run around following each other. Certainly Monkey-See-Monkey-do at times.

It was hot but some clouds, playing in the water, and eating ice cream kept everyone cool and we all had a great time.
