A Day at City Park

Today we took a little day trip to City Park. First we went to the Botanical Gardens to see all the flowers (which Faye could name the colors of easily) and the Garden Train (the main attaction). Faye really liked running around the side of the layout chasing a train yelling “too choo twain!”

After the Gardens, we headed over to the amusement park and rode on the City Park Train. A little squeally on some of the tighter turns, but a fun little trip around the park.

Once we were down at the park, mommy & daddy stopped for a yellow cake batter SnoBall from Sal’s. OMG was that good. Faye just wanted her goldfish (more for us!).

    Looks like you guys had a great day! I haven’t been there in years, didn’t know they even had a botanical garden! Although that street car looks a little Mr.Rogers-esk…a little scary
