We had some icky weather yesterday and got stuck indoors all day. So today we took a little trip downtown to get out of the house for a little while and enjoy the nice weather we had today.
We caught the Canal St. Streetcar at City Park and rode it all the way to the Riverwalk where we had po-boys for lunch. Faye just wanted raisins and fries (*both* dipped in ketchup). After resisting the urge to buy some fudge from The Fudgery, it was back to streetcars for the ride back to City Park.
A nice outing enjoyed by all.

Looks like fun, AWWWWW NO Flug! as yall use to call it, i remember we use to love watching it being made,the little show they put, and as they turn the fudge, throwing it in the air, how they were from la long line of turners, ( like tina turner) ha ha, than the best part, the samples. And hey any in ketchup taste!!! MOM

Raisins and ketchup?! Hmmmm, maybe Faye will be a future contestant for Iron Chef:
“This dish of raisin-ketchup ice cream makes me feel like I’m walking in a spring meadow…”

What a great outing, so glad y’all had fun. That Faye is too cute with her love of condiments. Funny kid!
