Since the weather was nice I took a walk on my lunch break and saw the decorations on Fulton St. My building is the tall black one in the back. I’m super close to Harrah’s. Too bad I’m not rich or I’d invite everyone to meet me for lunch everyday. There are so many restaurants around here. But the cobblestones are hard on the feet when you’re in heels. The pigeons are keeping me company while I type this from a public bench. I’m off to see how far it is to the Riverwalk.

Congrats Donna for landing a temp job so close to Christmas! Are being paid weekly? My temp job has been extended until the end of January, possibly into February.

Yeah! Whatcha doin?
It was supposed to be temping for a receptionist on maternity leave, but it’s a small company (5 people) and the receptionist is really the CAO. So it’s going to be more like high-end admin assistant, and she’s not due for another month. I’m training with her now. They seem to like me and want to keep me permanently after the temp assignment ends, doing marketing. Not sure I know how to sell financial consulting but we’ll see what happens.
