Tooth update

We took Faye to a dentist this morning and got some not so good news. He said her front tooth was pretty bad looking. Right now we’re at in a “wait and see” phase. We’re hoping over the next few days the gums all heal up and tighten around the tooth again. That would be the best we could hope for you.

But there’s also a high chance the gums won’t tighten and tooth simply falls out. There’s also a risk that the tooth itself is damaged and will eventually die (turn grey then black), which means it would probably need to be pulled out regardless if the gums tighten back or not.

So we’re praying for the best right now and hoping Faye doesn’t have to go around toothless until her permanents grow out in about 4 years.
