Demoted
After we started pulling Faye up to the table to eat, she became quit persisent in pulling her legs up. No matter how many times we corrected her she kept it up. Then this morning she decided to pull her legs and push the bottom of the table. The result? She pushed herself backwards and flipped her chair backwards. She didn’t hurt herself though. The high back of the highchair kept her head from hitting the floor luckily. She was freaked out by the quick ride backwards to the floor, but wasn’t hurt at all.
So for now she’s been demoted back to the highchair and away from the table because even after her fall she still wants to push on the table with her feet.

Ah, yes. Those lovely moments when your kid scares the crap out of you and sucks ten years off your lifespan, even though they are barely fazed at all. Yay parenthood. Here’s some dye for those new gray hairs. ;-)
OMG, how scary! Glad that she’s ok! I don’t doubt that Kai will pull the same trick 9 months from now :)
You poor thing – that must have scared you half to death! And I can’t imagine what it did to Shaun. Glad our little girl is OK, though. But man, do they have short memories when it comes to stuff like that.
