In case you ever wondered…

At some point you may have seen my job description “engineering estimator” over yonder on the right.  In case you ever wondered, “What the heck is an estimator?”, here’s a page I came across at the US Dept. of Labor that gives you a sorta general overview of what I do. My office focuses on the construction of chemical and energy plants.

Its interesting to see that in 2006 there were only 221,000 estimator jobs in the US.
