All done
Faye got her Upper G.I. done this morning. It really wasn’t that bad and she did great. It involved Faye drinking a bottle of barium while lying on her side/back/tummy under a real-time x-ray machine. I feed her while Donna helped comfort her. She fussed but not badly. Whole procedure took about 5 minutes.
The barium looked and smelled like a really really thick fruit smoothie. I’m sure it didn’t taste like it though. The nippled kinda popped out at one point and barium covered one side of Faye’s face. She looked like some kinda crazy clown. :)
The initial report showed no blockages or anything in her digestive system, and that she did have some reflux. We should here back from the doctor by the end of day though.
In other good news, she actually slept through the night without making a peep last night. Hopefully a sign of progress.

Faye, you poor little thing! I really hope that the final read on the barium swallow is nomal. I am glad to hear she finally slept through the night, hopefully a sign of progress. Hang in there guys, you’re doing a great job!
Poor Faye, she should get a gold star for being such a good sport about all this. Ya’ll are doing great and I’m sure Faye will be just fine, too.
