Trip to the ER

Faye since Friday has had some explosive diarrhea and a fever. Today she woke up and had her 5:30am bottle but then refused to eat anything until 11:30am. We had to force her to take some pedialyte via syringe to at least get some fluids in her system.

Our main concern today is that she also hasn’t “tinkled” in over 7 hours, which can be a sign of dehydration and a bad thing for infants.

So at 12:45 we headed to the ER at Christus hospital to be on the safe side and get her looked at. We’re waiting in a treatment room now.

Luckily it doesn’t seem to be really bothering her. Faye mostly just wants to go back to sleep, but has had some playful times. No fussiness or discomfort though. Even now she’s just talking away playing with her rattle.
