Sippy cup
I tried giving Faye some water in a sippy cup. It’s been a while since we tried it and she freaked out the last time. This is a new cup she’ll hopefully like better. I helped hold the cup steady for her first sip, then let her go. She must have raised that cup to her lips twenty times and every time, just before getting in her mouth she would pull it away and pound it on the floor. I think she liked the sloshing noise. Eventually she abandoned it for another toy. Oh well, baby steps.

Ha! That’s awesome. You know, we must confuse kids a bit- giving them brightly colored objects and spending months going, “Don’t put that in your mouth!”, then giving them another brightly colored object and saying, “Come on, put it in your mouth!”. No wonder they look at us like we’re nuts. :-D
She looks adorable as ever!
She is adorable, and she is sitting up so well. I’m sure Faye will get the hang of the sippy cup real soon, but for now a sloshy toy is just fine.
