Saturday morning!

Shaun is installing a sprinkler system in the backyard because the grass has brown patches. He rented a trenching machine from Lowes to dig the trench. Looks like fun.

    Are you sure the brown patches are from lack of water and not something like “chinchbugs”? I’d hate for you to do all of that work when all you needed was a little insecticide.
    We have brown patches also, but ours are caused by grubworms – ugh! They eat the roots and the grass dies. Nasty little things. Anyway, don’t stay out in the sun too long.

    Along with the new sprinklers in the backyard I’m gonna spray some insecticide too for good measure.

    I mainly wanted the sprinklers to get rid of the hassle of hoses and sprinklers when needing to water.
