There wasn’t much light over the kitchen sink, so I picked up a relatively in-expensive cable light system from Sol-Air Co.
Install was pretty easy. Just uses some screw hooks, cable anchors and cable tighteners. The transformer plugs right into a AC outlet as well.
It certainly helps with the lighting and is a nice addition until some more permanent type fixtures are installed later down the house-owning road.

For whatever reason, the previous owner had a ceiling fan installed in the dining room. The fan didn’t work either, was wired up.
So we found new chandolier at Home Depot for $50, and some new clear seeded glass globes to replace it.
2 hours later we have a new lighting installed! Yippie!

Yay! It’s starting to finally look like a real house.
Still have some more office junk I need to go through, but overall we’re pretty much unpacked and now in the decorating phase. Weee…..
