Moving along

After the closing on Friday, Donna and I started moving over boxes and pretty much anything that could fit in our cars. We made several trips throughout the day probably moved 75% of our crap.
This morning we picked up the Uhaul truck and made a first run of some small furniture items (chairs, tv stands, etc…). The Smiths came over at noon to help out and Sleebus and I made two more truck runs bring over all the appliances and large future, including the Armoire from Hell. The Smith’s also brought over a lunch of French Dip sandwiches and chocolate brownies. Man was that good stuff.
We finally got finished around 4:30 or 5 and dropped the truck off. And started the fun process of unpacking. We’re starting in the kitchen and going from there.
It’s such a nice a feeling knowing we’re unpacking and planning the decorating of *our* house now. So long leasing!
