Oh Christmas Tree

Yesterday we were at Dillard’s and discovered they had all their pre-lit artificial trees for 50% off.

We wanted to get a new fake tree this year, so we scored 7.5 ft tall (68″ diameter) spruce tree with 1000 white lights on sale for $200. Best part is we used a Dillards gift card we got as a wedding gift, so our total cost was $0.00 (with still leftover, too!). W00t!

Assembly was a snap as it came in 4 sections you stacked on top each other. Add one section, shape the branches, sip some egg nog, repeat. Voila!

Now to fix dinner and then to decorate.
