Office update

My CRT monitor was slowly going out so this week I replaced it with a Hanns 19″ widescreen LCD with DVI. Also picked up a dual LCD desk mounted arm off Ebay. Works great. Just clamps onto the desk. Here’s hoping the desk (which is really a table top from IKEA) doesn’t mind the stress too much.

The LCD looks great as well. It’s currently running on the analog cable though. Whenever I run it on DVI, it’s constant shutting off/on. Could be the refresh rate setting (it defaulted to 75) or the video card (ATI Radeon 9600XT). I will have to investigate that tomorrow.

The iMac G5 is now on ebay as it is being replaced with a new 1.83GHz Intel Mac mini (which arrives tomorrow). That’ll be KVM’d into one of the LCD’s and the existing keyboard/mouse.
