After 3 weeks, we finally returned home today for the first time to see how our home held up.

For the most, everything is good. No flooding! W00t. Looks like it got *really* close though.

Of the two trees in the back, one fell over on the apartment building next door. The 2nd one fell right on the back of our duplex on our rear apt. It shattered a window so we had glass and leaves and junk in our living room. Can’t really tell if it did any damage to the house itself.

On both sides of the house the fence fell down some.

Oh, we have power and water and cable, but no internet.

So besides a smelly fridge, I think we turned out fairly well.

The rest of the neighborhood looks like crap though. Debris and and stuff everywhere. :(

What about Donna’s car? Did you drive it back to Houston?

You are truly blessed! Glad to hear everything is more or less ok. Are you still planning on re-locating now?
