Picked up our Red Cross aid at Western Union this evening.

Thumbs up to Red Cross for stepping up to plate before FEMA got their act together.

    It felt like we won the lottery Tuesday because we got our Red Cross money, our food stamps and found out about FEMA. Still, we would have run out of funds long ago if not for all the donations to Shaun’s paypal account. I can’t begin to thank everyone for all their generosity. I hope we’ll get the chance to repay some of that generosity someday soon. Thanks from the bottom of my heart. God bless you.

    Glad to hear y’all are doing O.K.
    How did you get finacial assistance from Red Cross ??
    I was able to get online at a library in Dallas yesterday and completed my application for FEMA

    So I hope to hear from them. All is well here. I am going back to MS Monday to try and get my elec. & water hooke up and check to see if I can find a roofer. Take care. Love y’all. If I can help in any way let me know.

    You have to call 1-800-975-7585, give them your name, address, phone number (maybe DL number too), and they wire money to Western Union. We only got $665 for the 2 of us, but other people have gotten more. It took Shaun 3 hours just to get through, then 2 more hours on hold, which was fast. Glad to hear from you!
